Dan Spransy
President & Founder
Dan began the foundation in 2016 after deciding to host and pursue adoption of his daughter Erika. Learn more about their story.
Dan also owns the realtor brokerage Realty Executives Cooper Spransy, where many of the realtors volunteer and contribute to the foundation.
Andy Voeltner
Board Member
Andy is a financial advisor and owns his own firm, Omni Financial, LLC. Andy and his wife Becca have 4 children, including their son Lewis who they adopted in 2016.
Dale Schaechterle
Board Member
Dale owns the realtor brokerage Realty Executives Integrity. Dale and his wife Vicky have hosted from Latvia twice. They have 2 children and live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
David Rehm
Board Member
Dave is an engineer who owns American Rotary Phase Converters. He has been part of Before 16 since its inception. He has 2 children and lives in Milwaukee, WI.
Areal Guenther
Board Member
Areal and her husband Adam began hosting Valentine in 2016 and then his older brother Ruslan in 2017. They adopted Valentine (now Austin) in 2020. Ruslan will be joining Austin on a student visa. The Guenthers also have 2 more boys, Archer and Axel. Areal is a realtor for Realty Executives Cooper Spransy.
Hannah O'brien
Social Media
Hannah is the social media expert for Realty Executives Cooper Spransy and shares her expertise with Before 16. Hannah was adopted and has a passion for sharing her story and opening people's eyes to the world of adoption. She has a podcast with her birth mother called Dimples and Adoption.
Nathan Haag
Foundation Director
Nate has been running the foundation since its beginning in 2016. He was formerly an Area Director for Young Life and has a heart for working with non-profits that care for kids.
